The 686 Onyx Pro XTrap is based on the legendary 686 Action, a longtime favorite among hunters and competitive shooters. It features two tapered locking lugs in the center of the bolt, right between the barrels, giving it great bolt strength and durability while keeping the bolt’s profile significantly lower. The advantage is that the shooter’s eye is much closer to the level of his supporting hand: Significantly better swing and hand-eye coordination.
